About The Position

Oracle GDI - Government Defense & Intelligence is looking for a Account Executive to be responsible for license sales to Federal Civilian agencies This is a hybrid position that involves 3 days a week in-office work and/or meetings at the client site . Candidates must be based in the greater Washington DC area . Identifying, nurturing and close complex deals within Federal Civilian agencies– managing the end-to-end sales cycle with the objective to achieve assigned sales targets Manage and drive the territory through the entire sales process, to include business development, prospecting, requirements definition, solutioning, acquisition path, negotiations, and post-sales support. Drive pipeline generation in existing and new areas through outreach, meetings, industry conversations, digital and in person events and working with the account and BD teams. Establish and strengthen the business relationships with new and existing customers to ensure their requirements are understood and their needs are met Deliver on Oracle’s growth expectations in our Tech Solutions Serve as a client advocate for your customer enabling the ability to identify, qualify and capture Oracle opportunities. Requirements

  • 7+ years of demonstrated success in technology sales.
  • A passion for partnering with Federal customers to support their mission and address meaningful real-world challenges
  • Skill at crafting strategic messages and demonstrating Oracle’s competitive edge
  • Experience collaborating with colleagues to build compelling storyboards for complex, cross-functional solutions

  • Desired understanding of unique Federal HR requirements and processes
  • Desired ability to build and interpret reports, dashboards, and KPIs based on complex HR data structures

  • Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
