Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and result-driven Sales Representative to expand our customer base. This is a full-time role, offering uncapped earning potential through aggressive commission rates. The ideal candidate will have experience in IT sales, a strong network, and the ability to close deals in educational institutions and government agencies. 525 Technologies ownership comes from a technical and problem-solving background. The founding ideas and principles are centered around the understanding, helping, and supporting customers with technical needs. Years in the making, we finally launched on May 25, hence the “525”. 525’s goal is exceeding the needs of our customers. We do this by making their processes more efficient and cost-effective. Our solutions, products, and services are strategically designed to go above and beyond our mission statement, “Making technology simple” .

Nice To Haves

  • 1 to 2 Years of Sales experience a plus, however you will receive training and coaching from industry experts
  • Existing network of contacts in K-12 schools, higher education, or local/state government is a plus.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently.
  • Familiarity with public sector RFPs, procurement processes, and purchasing cycles is a bonus.
  • Ability to present solutions effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within K-12 schools, higher education, and government agencies.
  • Promote and sell 525 Technologies services and solutions portfolio
  • Develop relationships with key decision-makers such as IT directors, school administrators, and procurement officers.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and presenting to closing and follow-ups.
  • Collaborate with the 525 Technologies team to ensure seamless customer service and product delivery.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and client needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and closed sales.
