About The Position

As a Technology Sales Account Executive, you will work at Elevia as part of Homesteaders Life Company. You will be responsible for acquiring new funeral home customers for the Elevia texting platform. Your role will include working with partner referrals, inbound leads, and outbound prospecting to close new business. Manages high-volume SaaS sales with typical contracts $4,000-$6,000 ACV. You’ll play a direct role in helping families feel comforted and connected, while supporting businesses that are dedicated to serving their communities. Homesteaders Life Company, a mutual company owned by its policy holders, is a national leader providing products and services to help people design a better farewell. Founded in 1906, Homesteaders is known for secure preneed funding and innovative solutions that help funeral and end-of-life professionals and consumers connect with each other. We are currently not hiring in Arizona, Connecticut, California, Massachusetts, Oregon, Colorado, Montana, New York, Illinois, Minnesota, and Washington. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3+ years B2B technology or SaaS sales experience
  • Experience selling to small business owners preferred
  • Experience using Salesforce CRM

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and qualify new funeral home sales opportunities
  • Conduct Elevia product demonstrations
  • Manage full sales cycle from lead to close
  • Maintain pipeline and sales activity in Salesforce
  • Follow up on partner referrals and marketing leads
  • Achieve new customer acquisition targets
  • Attend industry conferences including NFDA and state shows
