About The Position

Peraton is seeking a Program Manager to support a new Space Systems Command (SSC) program aligned to the Epoch 2 Ground Management and Integration effort. The Program Manager will coordinate the activities of the Peraton Team as well as subcontractor personnel. These tasks shall include but are not limited to: Manage the contract to ensure all tasks are accomplished and CDRLs delivered in a timely and complete manner. Develop/deliver/maintain the Program Management Plan (PMP). Manage the project's schedule, cost, performance, and staffing for the duration of the contract. Lead the program customer kick off meeting provides quality review of all CDRLs. Ensure prime and subcontractor personnel are available, efficiently organized, and are qualified to meet the contract requirements. Develop and execute a methodology for assessing priorities and resources when resolving conflicting project requirements. Furnish the necessary qualified personnel, resources, materials, and facility to perform the identified tasks in this PWS. Perform program control activities ensuring that appropriate program progress reports, financial performance reports, and other contractual performance information are provided, as stipulated in the contract, in a timely manner to assist in balancing cost, schedule, and risk. Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals and objectives. Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and customers. Perform subcontractor/vendor management and coordination functions as needed. Achieve or exceed financial, delivery, and contractual performance targets for assigned projects/programs. Leads weekly/monthly internal company program reviews to track performance against targets and metrics. Plans and implements management and communication processes to ensure effective execution of the contract. Conducts monthly customer program reviews to ensure compliance, satisfaction and seek new areas to add value. This position is contingent on contract award.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Math or related technical discipline.
  • 12 years relevant PM experience with at least 8 years of relevant space acquisitions.
  • Prior experience with Ground Integration contracts for DoD or IC customers.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP or DoD Equivalent training and certification.
  • Ground Integration program experience supporting SSC in Colorado Springs, CO.
