The IT Program Manager leads the project management process for a group of programs and/or projects. Responsibilities involve carrying out processes, reporting, handling risks, budgets, and collaborating with others. Responsible for oversight of the execution of all aligned programs and projects to meet defined objectives. Role will also ensure standards are followed and provide governance for the assigned IT Portfolio of Projects. Responsible for the planning and execution of programs and projects within the portfolio Monitor project status, risks, and resource allocation across assigned portfolio and programs Support project managers with methodology, governance, and best practices Ensure IT projects align with governance, security, and compliance standards Prepare and deliver reports, dashboards, and recommendations for Project Teams, Stakeholders and Leadership Ensure programs and projects follow established governance standards Review resourcing on a regular basis and resolve issues if present, across programs Lead lessons learned sessions, post-project reviews, and promote continuous improvement for IT delivery.
