About The Position

Infosys is looking for Site Reliability engineers who can work in a global production and Infrastructure support environment for a global bank client, focusing on platform, system and application stability and reliability in terms of user experience and customer care. The responsibilities also include troubleshooting, fault analysis, failure avoidance, diagnosis and resolution for any impacting issues in a distributed environment. You will be working closely with Business Operations, Application Support groups, Development and Engineering teams to provide input on new functionality and system performance, observability, Reliability, Capacity management, monitoring and testing of infra upgrades and platform releases etc. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Austin, TX or willing to relocate to this area. This position may require travel in the US. Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time. Strong hands-on experience with Linux and Windows administration. Ability to execute and understand Linux commands and PowerShell automation. Experience with package installation, upgrades, and system patching. Proficiency in scripting languages: Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Practical experience working with PCF or any similar cloud platforms Familiarity with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Bamboo, Harness, GitHub Actions. Preferred Qualifications: Hands-on expertise with Ansible for infrastructure automation. Experience using Splunk for monitoring, logging, and alert analysis. Good understanding of networking concepts and security best practices. Strong analytical and application troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools. Prior exposure to SRE principles Experience handling large-scale distributed systems. Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on root-cause elimination. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Passionate about automation, innovation, and continuous improvement. Team player with the ability to collaborate across engineering, DevOps, and operations. The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
