About The Position

The Technology Intern role at Santander Consumer for Summer 2024 is designed for undergraduate students to gain practical experience in the fields of DevOps and GitOps. Interns will learn about the business of technology and risk management while engaging in various technical tasks. This internship aims to provide exposure to infrastructure as code development, automation, and dashboard development, among other responsibilities.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at a University or College.
• Preferably majoring in Information Systems, MIS, Engineering, Math, Business, or a related field.
• Expected graduation date between December 2024 - May 2025.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
• Strong analytics and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and within teams.
• Eager to learn and take on new responsibilities.
• Availability for the entire internship program.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Positive attitude and readiness to work.

Responsibilities

• Develop infrastructure as code using tools like Ansible, Powershell, Bash, and Terraform.
• Engage in DevOps automation tasks.
• Create dashboards for data support.
• Assist with ADO onboarding and OHE adoption.
