Technology Instructor
About The Position
As a Technology Instructor, you'll be a key player shaping how our dealers, employees and customers adopt, understand and master these innovations. You'll train, inspire, travel, and help bring groundbreaking solutions from concept to real-world use. In addition, you will: Partner with the Customer Success Team and Training teams to develop and refine technology training content and digital solutions Deliver training sessions employees, dealers and customers - both at our Davenport, IA and Sacaton, AZ locations and at Dealer locations Work with new technology solutions: Digital solutions Travel (approx. 50 %) to support dealer training, demo sites and customers
Requirements
- Proven ability to learn Digital Solutions and machine-technology
- Understanding of customer-applications involving grade control and Digital Solutions
- Excellent verbal presentation and written communication skills
- Self-starter mindset, comfortable working independently
- Ability to travel up to 50%
Nice To Haves
- Prior work in a dealer environment, construction equipment sales/service or product-training role
- Comfort in field settings: you're as effective on the demo site or jobsite as you are in the classroom
- Knowledge of the Deere dealer-channel and/or construction products, markets and competitors
- Surveying experience and/or experience with systems from Topcon, Trimble or Leica strongly preferred
- Experience with machine-operation or on-site construction equipment
