About The Position

The two-year Graduate Program provides recent graduates with hands-on experience across a wide range of front, middle, and back-office functions, contributing to projects that support operations, financial activities, client engagement, and regulatory responsibilities. Depending on placement, participants may assist with audits, reporting, compliance, financial transactions, client onboarding, technology, risk management, trade execution, prime brokerage, and client services. In addition to practical experience, the program emphasizes professional development, offering exposure to industry practices, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration alongside experienced professionals. Graduates are expected to start no later than January 2026. The Technology Information Security Department is a critical function within our capital markets company, responsible for protecting the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of the company’s information systems, networks, and sensitive financial data. The department proactively defends against cyber threats through continuous monitoring, threat detection, vulnerability management, and incident response, while ensuring compliance with stringent financial regulations and industry standards. The Technology – Information Security Analyst is responsible for safeguarding the company’s information assets by monitoring systems, networks, and data for potential security threats and vulnerabilities. This role supports the firm’s cybersecurity framework through proactive threat detection, incident analysis, and vulnerability management, including scanning, remediation tracking, and follow-up. The analyst assists with third-party and internal security assessments, maintains accurate documentation, and helps review and update security policies, procedures, and standards. Additionally, the role collaborates with cross-functional teams on cybersecurity initiatives, contributes to awareness and training campaigns, and identifies opportunities to automate manual processes to enhance efficiency. In today’s rapidly evolving threat landscape, effective security practices are essential to protecting the company’s reputation, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining uninterrupted business operations. By combining technical expertise with strong analytical skills, the information Security team acts as a strategic partner to the business, reinforcing the company’s commitment to resilience, operational excellence, and data integrity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field required.
  • Genuine interest in one or more of the program’s departmental tracks.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship, including, but not limited to, F-1, J-1, and M-1 visa holders, as well as individuals on CPT or OPT.

Responsibilities

  • Perform security monitoring tasks to evaluate Marex's systems, network and data.
  • Analyze potential incidents.
  • Support vulnerability management efforts, including scanning, tracking, and remediation follow-ups.
  • Assist in performing third-party security assessments.
  • Support security assessments of Marex’s applications, systems, and technologies.
  • Keep Information Security documentation accurate and up to date.
  • Help review and update security policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cybersecurity initiatives and projects.
  • Contribute to security awareness and training campaigns.
  • Provide support to Technology SMEs as part of internal and external audit engagements.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual and repetitive tasks.
  • Stay current on industry best practices, emerging risks, and regulatory requirements related to IT, cybersecurity, and risk management.
  • Ensuring compliance with the company’s regulatory requirements under the SEC, FINRA, NFA, CFTC and other applicable exchanges and regulatory bodies.
  • Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with.
