The Lilly Technology group is looking for curious, self-motivated interns who thrive on solving complex problems and making real-world impact. Key Responsibilities: High School Technology Interns will be assigned a project which will contribute to the Lilly Technology organization, providing exposure to the pharmaceutical industry, and the role Technology plays in creating solutions for Lilly. Interns will have access to Lilly leadership to learn more about career paths and opportunities. At the end of the internship, each will present their project highlights and accomplishments.

Requirements

  • At least 16 years of age by the start of the internship
  • Currently enrolled in high school
  • Reliable transportation to and from Lilly’s Corporate Offices
  • Available for the entire duration of the internship June 3 to July 31
  • Good analysis/problem assessment skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated teamwork/people skills
  • Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
  • Lilly will not provide support for or sponsor the following work authorization or visas for this role: F-1 OPT, F-1 STEM OPT, J-1, H-1B, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, or L-1.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of mobile application platforms, collaboration suites (ex: SharePoint), etc.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, Java, Python
  • Interest in emerging technologies
  • A strong desire to explore a career in technology

Responsibilities

  • Interns will receive 1 week of unpaid time off during the Lilly summer shutdown dates of June 29th, 2026 – July 3rd, 2026
  • Interns are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from work.
