About The Position

The position involves supporting the design, build, testing, and calibration of metrology systems used for gas flow and pressure testing, rate of rise systems, flow accuracy validation, and transient flow testing. The role requires contributing to the design and analysis of mechanical systems, equipment, and packaging, identifying problem areas, and proposing operational solutions to complex projects and tasks. Additionally, the candidate will develop test sequences, support code development, and derive correlations with a solid theoretical basis for experimental work. The position also includes generating statements of work, manufacturing assembly procedures, instructional manuals, and other technical documentation.

Requirements

  • BSME, BSCE, BS of Physics with an emphasis in Fluid Dynamics or greater.
  • 2+ years of engineering or related work experience.
  • Strong understanding of chemical and mechanical engineering principles.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment.
  • Coding ability in MATLAB/Simulink, LabVIEW, VBA, and C/C#/C++.
  • Experience using version control software.
  • Ability to independently drive projects and articulate ideas to team members.
