About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Business Accountability Specialist within the Chief Technology Office, focusing on the Compliance Monitoring & Adherence (CMA) team. This role is responsible for executing the compliance framework to monitor applications for alignment with technology risk controls and policies. The CMA team ensures timely risk identification and communication to senior management, thereby mitigating risks associated with Wells Fargo applications.

Requirements

• 4+ years of risk management, business controls, quality assurance, business operations, compliance, or process experience.
• 3+ years' experience in Business Systems Data and Business Systems Designing.
• 3+ years' experience in understanding multiple data sources.
• 3+ years' experience in supporting applications across various initiatives.
• 2+ years' experience in Systems vulnerability management.
• 2+ years' experience in deployment release management; DevSecOps, ServiceNow, Enterprise Pipeline tools.

Nice To Haves

• Experience of risk and regulatory compliance.
• Project coordination experience.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel/Word, PowerPoint, and Documentum skills.
• Knowledge of escalation or governance enforcement models.
• Knowledge and understanding of technology risks related to business risks.
• Experience with Agile tools, such as Confluence or Jira.
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate core working knowledge of business unit processes, procedures, and business products.
• Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within the business.
• Analyze and interpret lines of defense requests and gather associated control evidence.
• Identify recommendations to improve the quality of internal controls and mitigate risks.
• Ensure continuous compliance oversight and update control documentation.
• Execute line of defense testing to maintain control effectiveness.
• Present controls metrics to senior level management.
