About The Position

The Technology Business Development Architect at IBM is responsible for demonstrating the functional capabilities of the watsonx portfolio, collaborating with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) to create integration patterns, and developing proof of concepts (POCs) to showcase interoperability opportunities. This role requires a strong technical background and the ability to manage projects effectively while working closely with various teams to gather feedback and troubleshoot issues.

Requirements

• Computer science background (undergraduate and/or graduate).
• Deep hands-on technical experience with the watsonx portfolio or similar AI platforms.
• Ability to develop POCs and demos that highlight integrations between watsonx platforms and ISV solutions in Python, Java, and low-code/no-code environments.
• Critical thinking skills to envision integration scenarios with ISVs.
• Understanding of Data & AI reference architectures and software to quickly learn new tech stacks.
• Strong project management skills with a focus on outcome-driven activities.
• Strong interpersonal and persuasion skills to handle concerns from ISVs.

Responsibilities

• Technically demo'ing functional capabilities across the entire watsonx portfolio to enable ISVs.
• Collaborating with ISVs to ideate and test new integration patterns and scenarios.
• Rapidly prototyping POCs and custom demos to demonstrate interoperability opportunities between watsonx and ISV software.
• Facilitating access to watsonx environments and troubleshooting issues faced by ISVs using SDKs/APIs.
• Working closely with IBM Product Management and Client Engineering teams to collect and track feedback on IBM software.
