About The Position

Multnomah Athletic Club is seeking a Technology Business Analyst to help drive operational improvement and digital transformation across the organization. In this role, you’ll partner with departments to understand how work gets done today, identify opportunities to streamline processes, and support enhancements within the club’s core systems. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys problem‑solving, collaborating with diverse teams, and working at the intersection of operations, systems, and technology. You’ll play a key role in reducing manual work, improving workflows, and helping teams adopt more efficient digital practices.

Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to document processes clearly and logically
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Northstar Club Management System or operational systems
  • Exposure to automation tools (e.g., Power Automate or similar workflow tools)
  • Experience with process mapping tools (e.g., Visio or similar tools)

Responsibilities

  • Business Process Mapping
  • Meet with operational teams to understand current workflows
  • Document “as‑is” processes using flowcharts and clear written documentation
  • Identify inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities for optimization
  • Develop future-state (“to‑be”) workflows that improve efficiency and consistency
  • System Optimization & Automation
  • Identify repetitive or manual tasks that could benefit from automation
  • Support enhancements and workflow improvements across core systems
  • Assist with system configuration updates, data validation, and enhancements
  • Participate in testing new features, fixes, and updates to ensure accuracy
  • Requirements Gathering & Documentation
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business and functional requirements
  • Translate operational needs into clear, actionable documentation
  • Support prioritization of system enhancements and process improvements
  • Reporting & Analysis
  • Help build and maintain reports and dashboards that provide operational insights
  • Analyze system usage trends to drive better adoption and efficiency
  • Identify opportunities to improve data quality and reporting processes
  • Seasonal Registration Support
  • Prepare systems for high‑volume seasonal program registrations (Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter)
  • Assist with program setup, pricing, and registration rules
  • Complete validation and quality checks before registration launches
  • Monitor system performance during registration windows
  • Support staff with member registration questions or troubleshooting
  • Document recurring issues and recommend improvements for future cycles
