About The Position

You’ll be the go‑to technical specialist who turns plant operations data into clear, actionable insights for management. In this role you will build and maintain production and quality dashboards; integrate data from plant controls, weigh scales, QC labs, maintenance systems, and ERP; and partner with operations leaders to improve throughput, yield, safety, and cost per ton. You will help us optimize Salesforce data.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering (Mining, Industrial, Mechanical), Data/Analytics, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • Experience: 3–7 years in aggregates very helpful but not required, cement, ready‑mix, mining, or heavy manufacturing; at least 2 years building management dashboards tied to plant KPIs.
  • Technical Skills: BI tools (Power BI or Tableau); SQL; data modeling; ETL (e.g., Azure Data Factory, SSIS, or Python).
  • Strong Excel for ad‑hoc analysis; statistics for quality trending.
  • Soft Skills: Clear communicator with frontline teams and executives; structured problem‑solver; bias for action; able to prioritize in a production environment.

Responsibilities

  • Dashboarding & Reporting
  • Customer portal creation (email report automation)
  • Salesforce buildout
  • Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards (e.g., Power BI/Tableau) for daily production, downtime, material balances, quality KPIs (gradation, moisture), inventory, and logistics.
  • Data Integration in a Plant Environment
  • Link Salesforce and billing
  • Connect to data sources, weigh‑in/weigh‑out systems, QC test results, and ERP modules; develop robust ETL pipelines and data models.
  • Operational Analytics
  • Create billing automation
  • Analyze bottlenecks, cycle times, loader/plant utilization, and product yield; perform root‑cause analyses of downtime and quality deviations; recommend corrective actions.
  • Stakeholder Enablement
  • Translate management objectives into measurable KPIs; automate recurring reports (daily/weekly/monthly) and executive summaries; train plant supervisors and managers to self‑serve insights.
  • Data Governance & Reliability
  • Establish data quality checks, definitions, and standards; document lineage.
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Support Lean initiatives; pilot sensors or digital tools (e.g., moisture probes, conveyor scales) and assess ROI.
  • Safety & Compliance
  • Work safely in active plant areas; ensure instrumentation and data practices support environmental and safety reporting.
