Protiviti is looking for a Technology Audit & Advisory Manager to join our growing Healthcare team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years working in internal audit, consulting, assurance services, risk and control programs, or related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Healthcare Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or Business-Related Field) required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications with specific emphasis on Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • In-depth understanding of IT audit methodologies, concepts, tools, and objectives.
  • Strong organization, prioritization, time management, and self-directed research skills.
  • Ability to translate technology topics and audit issues into 'business speak' to be understood by executives.
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills, including audit documentation and presentations.

Nice To Haves

  • An MBA with healthcare concentration / focus or MHA preferred.
  • Professional certification such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, or similar preferred.
  • Proficiency in PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, Python, and/or RPA Solutions a plus.
  • Foundational awareness of Electronic Health Records (EHRs), Electronic Medical Records (EMRs), Personal Health Records (PHRs), and Interoperability / MACRA-MIPS.
  • Interest or experience in digital transformation and emerging technologies (e.g., analytics, automation, artificial intelligence, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Partner with clients to solve complex business problems and provide best in class advice and solutions.
  • Develop lasting relationships with client personnel and seek to further these relationships through quality product delivery and valuable insights.
  • Understand client’s business and demonstrate technical competence in their solution and healthcare industry.
  • Assess, identify risk, advise, and consult on a wide variety of technology related topics, including major technology projects, cybersecurity, cloud, data, enterprise applications, disaster recovery, analytics, and emerging technologies.
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of strategy to win new business.
  • Mentor junior team members and participate in the creation and rollout of training and developing skill sets.
  • Manage multiple teams, execute projects, develop junior resources, manage project economics, and oversee client accounts.
