Texpak, a wholesale distributor of labels and labeling software located in Franklin Square, NY, is seeking a Technology and Systems Associate to manage the company's technology and printing needs. This position offers significant potential for growth within the company and involves a variety of responsibilities that support both internal operations and customer service. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support for thermal and inkjet printers, as well as labeling software such as NiceLabel/Loftware and Bartender. This role requires a proactive approach to customer service, ensuring that all customer issues and communications are logged in the CRM tool, and assisting customers with implementing database-driven printing solutions. In addition to customer support, the Technology and Systems Associate will create label formats tailored to customer specifications and manage printing jobs within the internal Service Bureau. The role also involves assisting the sales team in selling advanced label software packages, providing internal IT support for office phones, cell phones, computer procurement and setup, and managing Microsoft Office, email, and website domain renewals. Furthermore, the associate will support the internal ERP system, specifically NetSuite, by assisting with implementation, troubleshooting, and reporting needs. This position requires a solid understanding of internet and software technologies, a general curiosity to learn new software programs, and a willingness to tackle both internal and customer problems. The candidate should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and be comfortable troubleshooting printers and office equipment. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role is required, along with ERP support experience. Graphic design knowledge is preferred but not mandatory.
