About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Applications Engineer to join our dynamic team in San Jose, United States. In this role, you will be the technical bridge between our cutting-edge products and our valued customers, leveraging your engineering expertise to provide exceptional technical customer support.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Computer, or related field)
• 5+ years of experience in field applications engineering or technical sales
• Strong technical knowledge in relevant engineering fields
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
• Proven track record of successful customer engagements and sales
• In-depth knowledge of industry-specific technologies and trends

Nice To Haves

• Relevant technical certifications are preferred
• Willingness to travel within the US to customer sites. Potential for international travel also exists

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify new business opportunities
• Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to resolve problems
• Provide expert technical guidance and support throughout the sales cycle
• Analyze customer requirements and develop tailored presentations related to their use case(s)
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely resolutions
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and industry partners
• Contribute to product development by providing market feedback and customer insights
• Travel to customer sites within the United States as needed (typically once per month)
