About The Position

A client of TEKsystems is seeking a Techno-Functional DAM Lead to join the team. This is a long term contract. They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Techno-Functional Digital Asset Management (DAM) Lead to drive the strategic and technical execution of a critical migration project from Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Assets/Sites to the Orange Logic enterprise DAM platform. This pivotal role requires a deep understanding of both content management workflows (AEM) and dedicated asset lifecycle governance (Orange Logic). The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business stakeholders (Brand, Creative, Marketing) and technical delivery teams (IT, Development), providing both functional expertise in metadata/governance and technical leadership in architecture, development, and system integration. This is a hybrid role demanding hands-on configuration, team guidance, and high-level solution design. I. Functional Strategy & Governance (The "Functional" Aspect) ● DAM Strategy & Adoption: Act as the primary functional owner to define the target operating model for Orange Logic, including asset ingestion, usage, security, and distribution workflows that align with global brand standards and business goals. ● Metadata & Taxonomy Design: Lead the design and implementation of the enterprise-wide metadata schema, keyword taxonomy, and asset naming conventions within Orange Logic. Ensure the schema supports optimal searchability, compliance, and multi-channel delivery. ● Requirements Translation: Collaborate closely with creative, marketing, and legal teams to gather complex content and asset requirements, translating them into precise, detailed Jira user stories and technical specifications for the development team. ● Governance & Rights Management: Define and enforce DAM governance policies, security protocols, and strict Digital Rights Management (DRM) within Orange Logic to ensure licensing and compliance requirements are met across all asset distribution channels. . Technical Leadership & Migration Execution (The "Techno" Aspect) ● Technical Architecture & Strategy: Lead the overall technical design and architecture for the end-to-end asset flow, specifically focusing on the migration strategy and execution from AEM Assets/JCR to Orange Logic. ● Core System Integration: Design and implement robust, secure two-way integration layers between Informatica P360 (PIM) and Orange Logic, as well as between Orange Logic and the remaining AEM Sites platform, utilizing APIs (REST/GraphQL) and specialized connectors. ● AEM Development & Decoupling: Provide hands-on guidance or development oversight for AEM solutions (6.x, AEM as a Cloud Service) required to support the transition, including component updates, template refactoring, and OSGi services to handle asset decoupling and reference switching. ● DAM Configuration: Lead the technical configuration of the Orange Logic platform, including asset ingestion workflows, transformation presets (renditions), version control logic, and user permission models. ● Performance & DevOps: Define and enforce technical standards, ensure platform stability, security compliance (WCAG), and optimize performance for asset delivery, leveraging knowledge of caching, CDN, and CI/CD pipelines (Maven, Git).
