About The Position

TAS Environmental Services is hiring a Technician to assist in the day-to-day operations, including emergency response, cleaning of equipment, inventory of supplies and assets, and industrial tank cleaning. The role may involve dirty and physically demanding work, requiring strenuous physical labor.

Requirements

• HAZWOPER and Confined Space certifications preferred
• Ability to read, write and do mathematics
• Class C (Texas) or equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Handling various products, hazardous and non-hazardous materials
• Performing industrial work and biohazard cleanups
• Staging, profiling, and processing for hazardous and non-hazardous waste
• Assist in the removal of soil, debris and other materials, and cleaning up spill sites
• Operate and clean equipment
• Maintaining logs of working hours in compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations
• Up to 25% travel as needed - locations may differ
• Technicians will be assigned to emergency response calls at all times of the day or night, weekends, and holidays
• Other duties as assigned
