About The Position

A General Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a wide range of repair and preventative maintenance tasks in multiple trade areas including plumbing, basic electricity, carpentry, painting, HVAC, and basic mechanical repair. Customer Service/Breakdown/Setup of facility meeting rooms; Grounds repair and upkeep is also an expectation.

Requirements

• High School Diploma / GEDHigh School completion / GED
• 5-7 years of job related experienceyears of job related experience
• Building Maintenance ExperienceBuilding Maintenance Experience
• General Mechanic or general building repairgeneral mechanic or general building repair
• Ability to read blueprints
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools and other specialized instruments
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, plans, directions, drawings, basic line drawings, simple schematics, work orders, purchase requisitions, and MSDSs.
• Must be able to work independently or as part of a team, be friendly and courteous to patients, visitors, and staff, be neat in appearance and demonstrate good personal hygiene.
• Good organizational and problem solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks are essential to job performance
