Technician duties include but are not limited to assisting within the shop with equipment maintenance and repairs, loading/unloading gear and supplies for projects, and working on projects to assist with various inspections and construction activities in support of both diving and engineering-related projects.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Valid US Driver’s License

Nice To Haves

1-3 years of relevant experience preferred.
10hr or 30hr OSHA General Construction Course
Department of Transportation (DOT) commercial license
Heavy equipment operation experience
Mobile crane certification
Experience with fabrication and a certified welder
Mechanic background
Current Blood Borne Pathogens, First Aid, CPR, O2 Administration certifications.

Responsibilities

Attend and hold daily field and shop safety meetings to include active involvement. Providing suggestions, asking questions, and helping all involved stay safe for all associated tasks.
Capable and knowledgeable of learning and executing a variety of inspection or construction-related tasks while working in the shop and/or on field projects. These tasks could include working with wood, steel, concrete, timber, and other construction materials.
Performing equipment maintenance and repairs, fabrication, and other related tasks.
Utilize experience and knowledge to troubleshoot technical issues and provide innovative solutions.
Understand project scopes, associated tasks, and the expectations to complete those in a safe and efficient manner.
