About The Position

Join the team at LEGO Discovery Center Atlanta and help power the fun behind the scenes! 🧱✨ Our Technicians are the backbone of the attraction — ensuring every experience is safe, operational, and ready to wow our guests from open to close. The Technician plays a critical role in maintaining the facility, attractions, and equipment to the highest standards of safety, functionality, and presentation. This position supports daily operations by troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance across the site. You’ll be the first one in and the last one out — helping set the stage for an incredible guest experience every single day.
Requirements
- Ability to work weekends
- Reliable transportation
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working early mornings and being part of opening and closing procedures
Nice To Haves
- Electrical experience
- Carpentry experience
- Previous facilities or maintenance experience in a high-volume environment
- Initiative-driven mindset with strong attention to detail
- Experience working in entertainment, attractions, or themed environments
Responsibilities
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance on rides, exhibits, and facility equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and minor carpentry issues
- Respond quickly and effectively to operational repair needs
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop and storage areas
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with company standards
- Assist with attraction resets and opening/closing procedures
- Work cross-functionally with Operations and Guest Experience teams to minimize downtime
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation
- Support projects, improvements, and facility upgrades as needed
- Demonstrate a proactive, solution-based mindset in all situations
