Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Must be 18 years old or older.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Broad knowledge of new vehicle technologies and computer skills.
  • Ability to be analytical and multi-task.
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic presence in a team environment.
  • Strong written and communication skills.
  • Consistent and stable work history and work attendance.
  • Professional appearance and work ethic.
  • All potential employees must pass pre-employment testing to include a background check and drug screen

Nice To Haves

  • Extensive knowledge/experience of vehicle repairs preferred

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
  • Perform used car checklists to identify what repairs need to be made.
  • Complete full multi-point inspections and provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs.
  • Communicate with Service Advisor’s to ensure efficient work flow.
  • Inspect and test new vehicles and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made.
  • Demonstrate excellent guest service, which includes providing clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles.
  • Test batteries of customer vehicles in service bay.
  • Promote teamwork to deliver on guest expectations.
  • Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology.
