About The Position

Reliability Services is seeking a Field Service Technician to support complex, hands-on service projects across industrial and refinery environments. This role is ideal for a mechanically inclined professional who enjoys working in the field, solving problems, and contributing to a strong safety and continuous improvement culture. You’ll play a critical role in delivering high-quality reliability solutions that improve equipment performance, safety, and uptime for our customers.

Requirements

  • 6 months–1 year of experience working with pumps, valves, rotating equipment, or as a field technician preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools and service equipment safely.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% (domestic and international) and work away from home.
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record (CDL Class A preferred).
  • Ability to operate trucks and trailers safely and efficiently.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Authorized to work in the United States and able to obtain a U.S. passport.
  • Ability to pass background checks and periodic drug screenings, including hair follicle testing.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance activities including rotating equipment lubrication, filter exchanges, oil mist systems, and greasing systems.
  • Operate oil transfer pumps, filtration equipment, and related service tools.
  • Collect diagnostic data, including lubricant and vibration samples.
  • Conduct visual inspections and assist with repair of oil distribution piping, hoses, and equipment.
  • Read and follow P&IDs and understand process flow within refineries and industrial plants.
  • Record gauge readings, LCD values, and job documentation accurately and timely.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment on job sites.
  • Route piping and flushing hoses and bend tubing as directed by lead personnel.
  • Follow all safety requirements, including PPE, JHA/JSA, lockout/tagout, work permitting, and safety reporting.
  • Participate in daily safety meetings and support continuous improvement and lean initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers regarding job execution and methodologies.
  • Supporting naval vessel operations and recording scheduled gauge and log readings.
