About The Position

AGParts Worldwide, Inc. is seeking a full-time Technician to work in our Youngwood, PA location. No experience necessary. Our objective is to hire, train, and retain! Why AGParts? The Technician additional duties can include A/C testing, Whole Unit repairs, and Whole Unit cleaning as well as other duties designated by the tech department supervisors or Director of Operations. Warehouses are located in Youngwood and Greensburg PA, and job positions can be assigned to either or both locations.

Requirements

Knowledge of basic math
Near vision-ability to see details at close range
Finger dexterity-ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small objects
Active learning-understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making
Documenting/recording information-observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources
Establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships
Possesses technical aptitude

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot technical issues and notate non-functioning components
Test and grade units.
WU Cleaning
Meet production schedules and deadlines according to quality standards
Multi-task, and work in a flexible and changing environment with multiple competing deadlines
Interpret written instructions and follow detailed verbal directions
Perform basic mathematic calculations
Complete data entry of logs, paperwork, and forms
Learn multiple tasks, cross train, and perform job functions in other departments, as needed
Accurately perform job duties with minimal supervision
Utilize testing machines and a variety of hand tools with a high level of finger dexterity
Work effectively using low-power magnification, and see details within a close range
Effectively communicate (oral, written, and verbal) and maintain good relationship with co-workers, shipping/receiving staff, sales team, and supervision on a daily basis
Perform warehouse duties when necessary (move up to 70lb boxes, use pallet jack, trash duties, basic organization, cardboard compactor, recycling scrap parts, cycle counting inventory)
Work well in both groups and independently
Other duties assigned by tech lead, tech supervisor or Director of Operations.
