What you'll bring to the team The Technician is one of our behind-the-scenes heroes who helps keep the magic alive every day! In this hands-on role, you will support both planned and reactive maintenance throughout the attraction to ensure everything runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently. From audio visual systems and lighting to equipment, machinery, and themed elements, you will be the go-to problem solver who keeps the experience shining bright for every guest who walks through our doors ✨ Qualifications & Experience

  • Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot all attraction equipment and machinery including HVAC, electronic, systems to keep the magic running smoothly.
  • Jump in with hands-on problem-solving to minimize downtime and ensure guests enjoy seamless, unforgettable experiences.
  • Support a wide range of tasks including lighting work, re-lamping, painting, wall repair, exhibit setup and takedown, tech equipment upkeep, and general handyman repairs.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot Audio Visual systems for both long-time favorites and newly installed exhibits.
  • Install or replace bulbs, projector lamps, doors, hardware, and other essential attraction components.
  • Inspect, repair, and maintain ride systems and attraction equipment while upholding top safety and reliability standards.
  • Complete work orders, inspections, repairs, preventative maintenance tasks, and system adjustments on schedule.
  • Assist with interior touch-ups including painting, furniture assembly, hanging décor, and other repair needs.
  • Set up and troubleshoot data cables, computer outlets, and basic networking connections.
  • Monitor building systems, identify issues, and correct or report safety or fire hazards promptly.
  • Follow safe working practices and keep storage and work areas clean, organized, and hazard-free.
  • Operate hand tools and power equipment confidently and safely.
  • Apply knowledge of basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, networking, pumps, motors, actuators, AV systems, DMX lighting, PC hardware, and more to keep the attraction performing at its best.
  • Work independently while building positive relationships and collaborating with multiple departments.
  • And of course, other exciting duties as assigned to help keep the entire attraction running at peak performance!
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum two years of maintenance experience, preferably within attractions, entertainment venues, or other themed environments.
  • Hands-on experience with animation, hydraulics, pneumatics, automation, electrical systems, electronics, and network-based equipment.
  • A hardworking, proactive troubleshooter with a can-do attitude and a love for solving problems.
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
  • A reliable, safety-minded team player who takes pride in keeping the magic alive behind the scenes!
