About The Position

As a member of the Los Angeles repair center, you will disassembly and assembly, cleaning and testing of mechanical components related to pneumatic and hydraulic valves.

Requirements

• Possesses strong mechanical skills
• Hands on work assembly and disassembly of mechanical parts.
• Some knowledge working with electronics.
• High School Diploma
• Strong mechanical aptitude demonstrated experience with mechanical and pneumatic components.
• Ability to work in conformance with engineering specifications, quality procedures, and lean manufacturing principles.
• Ability to understand work procedures, determine tooling and operation sequence, etc. in order to establish the most efficient manner of utilizing materials and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals.
• Able to communicate effectively with coworkers.
• Able to follow instructions, possess basic comprehension and reading skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a group as a team player.
• Has the ability to learn quickly and apply new skills immediately.
• Positive attitude and high degree of self-discipline and self-motivation are required.
• Ability to work safely on all tasks related to the job.

Nice To Haves

• Over 2 years of manufacturing assembly experience or related experience/training or equivalent combination of education and experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

Responsibilities

• Move material to and from workstation by hand, cart, pallet jack, hoist/ crane as required.
• Maybe required to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds).
• Disassemble (tear-down), clean, according to work instructions, engineering drawings and/or test codes.
• Responsible for processing paperwork pertaining to the disassembly/Assembly and cleaning of pneumatic and hydraulic valves.
• Use of fixtures, press, vice, grinders, wire wheel, pneumatic/hand tools, etc.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management
• Adhere to all safety rules, regulations, practices, procedures, and established company policies.
• Maintain good housekeeping.
• You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.
