About The Position

The position involves operating production equipment and is responsible for the manufacturing and assembly of industrial products. The employee will cut, prepare, and package materials for shipment, ensuring that all tasks are completed according to blueprints, guidelines, and diagrams to meet product specifications and tolerance levels. The role requires knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the manufacturing and industrial field, and relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform job functions under immediate supervision.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of related experience in an industrial job shop environment.
• Understanding of simple mechanics, lifting devices, and material handling is required.
• Ability to use simple hand tools is necessary.
• Must be able to work autonomously and be a self-starter in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of the use of torches and compressed gases.
• Experience in carpentry or woodworking.
