You will serve as a senior Combat Systems Test Director (CSTD) during In-Service and New Construction availabilities. You will be responsible for the execution and coordination of interface and operability testing to characterize overall combat, weapons, and C4I/C5I systems before and throughout ship's phase maintenance availability. You will provide modernization support in maintenance availabilities by tracking the Modernization Readiness Assessment (MRA) and develop an integrated C5I test plan. You will execute a complex sequence of combat system installations and test events. You will participate in production meetings to identify when modernization work cannot be completed as scheduled or key event completion date and provide recommendations for appropriate corrective actions. You will track discrepancies by equipment and provide details of ongoing troubleshooting efforts, part availability, and impact towards combat systems integration testing and maintenance availabilities key events. You will support Sea Trials and evaluate long range air search radar performance, self-defense Detect-To-Engage demonstration, and SSDS-NSSMS sensor alignments. You will manage a Weapon/Combat/Missile system multi-task organization which provides modernization and test support for US Navy and Foreign Military Sales Ships and other platforms as assigned. You will develop and execute Ships Construction, Maintenance, Modernization and Availability projects by managing resource planning for each program office the branch is involved. You will facilitate management goals, developing changes to processes and procedures to improve productivity and value added from fleet products.
