About The Position

Under the direction of the chief technologist or his/her designee, performs radiographic examinations at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgments, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for imaging diagnosis. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required The hours for this position vary - 9:30am-6pm (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday) 10am-6:30pm ( Thursday's) Overtime is required and weekends. The associate will be required to travel to all Orthopaedic locations due to emergencies, vacations and sick calls for coverage 75 East Gun Hill Road, Bronx, NY 3400 Bainbridge Avenue Bronx, NY 4141 Carpenter Avenue Bronx

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Satisfactory completion of a formal two year radiologic technology training program.
• Licensed by the State of New York
• Verified by ARRT
