Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the post-harvest field or food manufacturing 2 years Mobile equipment.
  • High School Diploma or GED minimum
  • Required Forklift certified
  • Required Valid unrestricted driver's license
  • Possesses basic knowledge of mechanical systems and preventative maintenance.
  • Possesses understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to handle numerous and challenging projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail (strong multitasking skills)
  • Possesses strong attention to detail for monitoring production and completing documentation.
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships with Company personnel, customers, and third party partners.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and safely handle bulky items in accordance with safety guidelines
  • Ability to interact effectively in person, by phone, or electronically with packinghouses, co-workers, team members, and management to accomplish daily responsibilities
  • Ability to maintain proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirator compliance with annual fit testing standards
  • Ability to comply with all company and departmental policies and procedures, and to report any ethical concerns to management
  • Possesses basic math and measurement skills for batching and inventory tracking

Responsibilities

  • Perform inventory Cycle Counts for raw materials and finished goods to ensure accurate stock levels.
  • Monitors the daily wax production operations and manufacture wax in compliance with GMP requirements.
  • Conduct routine equipment checks, including daily mobile equipment inspections and monthly fire extinguisher audits.
  • Coordinate and perform preventative maintenance on production equipment and delivery truck in collaboration with the supervisor.
  • Complete and submit finished goods paperwork at the end of each batch; report any batch-related issues to the supervisor immediately.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for handling materials in quality hold and waste areas.
  • Track and document Waste Water Tank levels after each batch or system flush.
  • Load and unload materials for vendors, customers, and team members safely and efficiently.
  • Support site safety inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Complete all required safety and food safety training programs and adhere to related procedures.
  • Maintain proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirator compliance with annual fit testing requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support production and operational needs.
