The Visual Components Specialist applies fundamental principles, knowledge and concepts in subject matter area. Generally sought after for advice in areas of massive optics and/or transparency manufacture, assembly, modification, coating and maintenance. The specialist is able to perform most activities associated with the job and train specific skills and concepts to technicians in specific areas. This position participates in skills training as required and assists the Production Manager as needed. The Visual Components Specialist is responsible for the adherence to established processes and internal specifications and inspection of visual components at all phases of production. The position is responsible for the application of manufacturing standards per industry best practices, FSI work instructions, and within the framework of the Quality Management System at FlightSafety. Additionally, the position is responsible for assisting with and facilitating continuous improvement in all phases of production that affect visual component manufacture to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Associate's degree (AS).
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in relevant field.
