Your New Role… This position is responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and repairing technical components, as well as addressing day-to-day technical needs. Additionally, this position will be required to provide the highest levels of customer service to both visitors and internal customers.

Requirements

  • High School diploma required or equivalent
  • Must possess a strong technical background around projectors and show systems.
  • Available to work weekends and holidays.
  • Knowledge of live event production and the audio-visual skills required for delivery of such events.
  • Experience working with installed AV show systems, including fault finding, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance.
  • Good working knowledge of technical systems including show control, networked lighting systems, and motion capture technology.
  • Knowledge of a wide range of show technologies including lighting, sound, video, networks/IT, power, and integrated systems.
  • Previous experience in an operational, customer-facing environment with significant public interaction.
  • Strong IT skills, proficient with Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365 and basic knowledge of IT switch networks and IP-based control systems.
  • Understanding of work order/facilities management systems and workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, maintain and troubleshoot technical components ensuring that all elements are functioning at the highest possible standard.
  • Work closely with on-lot and 3rd party vendors to ensure agreed upon KPI’s are sustained.
  • Monitor and meticulously document the condition of assets and equipment in order to maintain the level of quality, reliability, and maximize lifespan.
  • Create and maintain inventory and maintenance records to ensure stability.
  • Manage all elements of systems, both back and front of house, to include audio visual systems, lighting, sets, props, animatronics and equipment.
  • Responsible for the networks (lighting, QLAN, control and others) as well as the interface between systems and the corporate network and engage responsibly with IT/Go-Tech on the provisioning of detailed port, IP and network requirements.
  • Lead the way through knowledge, experience and competency across all aspects of systems and design.
