Technician - Test - Level 2 (Weekend shift) FAA
About The Position
As an FAA Test Technician Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will be accountable for conducting testing and troubleshooting activities on complex electronic systems. You will work closely with engineering teams to ensure the quality and functionality of our products. Your attention to detail and technical expertise will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality products to our customers. In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our testing processes, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. All applicants for placement in DOT/FAA safety-sensitive positions will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug test, testing for Marijuana, Cocaine, Amphetamines (amphetamine, methamphetamine, MDMA, MDA), Phencyclidine (PCP), and Opioids (codeine, heroin, morphine, oxycodone, oxymorphone, hydrocodone, hydromorphone). The DOT/FAA regulations require all employees, regular and temporary, in safety-sensitive positions, to be included in the Honeywell Anti-drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Plan.
Requirements
- 2; years of experience in testing and troubleshooting electronic or mechanical systems.
- Strong technical skills and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree in Electronics or a related field.
- Experience in the aerospace or aviation industry.
- Familiarity with testing equipment and tools.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
