About The Position

The position is within the Sterile Processing department, which is a fast-paced environment responsible for preparing all surgical instruments for patients in the Main OR, CVOR, and Birthing Center. The department processes approximately 10,000 instruments per month and is certified through the International Association of Healthcare Central Supply Materials Management.

Requirements

• Preferred experience in sterile processing for at least one year.

Responsibilities

• Receives sterilized goods and cleaned equipment for all clinical areas.
• Processes and maintains sterilized goods and equipment.
• Distributes sterilized goods and cleaned equipment as needed.
• Works independently with minimal supervision.
• Complies with the Quest for the Best 5-Star Promise.
