About The Position

The Senior CAD Technician is responsible for development of piping and industrial drafting deliverables as necessary to meet project goals, per the direction of the Operations Manager

Requirements

• Vocational Technical Certification or Associate's degree in technical discipline
• 5 years minimum experience in the industrial drafting field
• 2 years minimum experience developing deliverables from laser scan data
• 3D modeling experience in AutoCAD and or Plant 3D
• A clear understanding of reading and developing P&IDs and Isometrics
• Skilled at Microsoft Office products
• Capable of leading a project team
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed and accurate drawings using computer aided design.
• Work in a timely manner to achieve established deadlines for assigned projects
• Effectively communicate with team members
• Assist in developing and maintaining department CAD standards.
• Assist field personnel in data collection if required.
• Performance of other duties as assigned.
