About The Position

Your Opportunity as the Technician, Frozen Handheld & Spreads Research & Development Support iterative product prototyping, managing lab and Pilot Plant supplies, and aid in the execution of our Safety and Quality programs. Location: Orrville, OH Work Arrangements: 100% onsite In this role you will: Scale and batch formulas in lab and pilot plant spaces Assist team with analytical testing for lab and pilot plant batches Be the Area Owner of R&D spaces by being the single point of contact for any issues or concerns Cleaning, stocking, organizing supplies and managing maintenance Leverage various systems of information for completing work: inventory management system, Electronic Lab Notebook interface, SharePoint, and others Support Quality and Safety Program owners to manage the application of R&D’s programs in the lab and Pilot Plant spaces Support established procedures and pilot plant work as directed and identify ways to improve methods Perform sanitation in lab and pilot plant spaces Perform various activities such as shipping and receiving packages Clean, operate, and maintain all lab and PRL equipment This role may require overtime to meet business needs What we are looking for: Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or Vocational Diploma Basic knowledge of taking care of lab equipment (i.e. clean, inspect, and lubricate) Comfortable working with computers and proficient in MS Office Applications (Word, Excel) Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and capacity to multitask efficiently Proven time management skills with ability to pivot based on changing priorities Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to stand for all work hours Ability to flow to the work Additional skills and experience that we think would make someone successful in this role: Degree in science or technology Prior work experience or internship within a lab Prior food industry experience within R&D The Right Place for You We are bold, kind, strive to do the right thing, we play to win, and we believe in a strong community that thrives together. Requirements
