About The Position

The Technician - Service Center is responsible for providing technical insurance support to Underwriters, Sales Representatives, Customer Service Representatives, and clients. Your Impact: Input incoming insurance applications and Premium Estimate form into the CRM; ensure completeness of required data. Input sales leads into CRM. Process Certificates of Insurance. Review and process money mail orders for new and renewal business; check for accuracy and completeness. Perform data entry for issuance of policies and retrieve additional information as needed for printing, mailing policies, etc. Sort mail and index scanned mail; distribute to appropriate underwriter as necessary. Complete check requests for carrier payment and/or insured refund. Report claims and verify coverage information to the carrier. Handle calls, emails, and faxes from clients, internal Pearl resources, etc. Maintain accurate account information and documentation in various systems and databases. Meet production quotas and quality standards as set forth by management.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in a related field preferred; 1+ years of previous customer service experience within business insurance lines utilizing Siebel or other Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to interface effectively at all levels within an organization.
  • Property & Casualty insurance license and/or related insurance coursework desired.
