About The Position

Implements new concept changes, supports manufacturing department by maintaining, diagnosing and repairing manufacturing machinery. Improves existing manufacturing processes and efficiency while maintaining consistent product quality.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an electrical and mechanical repair technician.
  • Skilled in the operation of precision measurement tools
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents, drawings and blue prints.
  • Strong math skills
  • A keen eye for detail with a results-driven approach.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, efficiently works under pressures, within deadlines or other time essential constraints.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly and concisely communicate to all levels of the organization.
  • Strong work ethic and an ability to excel within a rapidly changing and growing organization.
  • Associate degree in Mechatronics desired or similar related field.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical schematics.
  • Computer skills such as MS Excel, Word, Office and CMMS programs.
  • Candidate must have 5+ years technical background.

Responsibilities

  • Basic Fanuc robot programming and troubleshooting.
  • Basic program and troubleshoot PLC’s / HMI’s for automated equipment and other controls software (Allen-Bradley, Click).
  • Design control systems for automated equipment.
  • Install and maintain electromechanical components such as stepper motors, sensors and pneumatic cylinders.
  • Assist in developing concepts and modifications to equipment.
  • Work with Quality team to produce, update and implement all project related documentation including; SOP’s, work instructions, process guides, validations, BOM’s, troubleshooting guides and other documentation or forms as needed.
  • Assist with installation qualifications and validations.
  • Expert Diagnostic troubleshooting for automated equipment.
  • Experience with vision systems (Keyence a plus).
  • Engineering support for vendor interaction including ordering parts.
  • Responsible for preventive maintenance and repair of pneumatics and electrical systems.
  • Experience with industrial air compressor systems including dryers and separators.
  • Other duties as assigned by leadership.
