About The Position

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Retail Pharmacy technician experience preferred.
• Registered New Jersey Pharmacy Technician certification required within 6 months of employment.
• Completion of a certified pharmacy technician training program or passing score on the Certified Pharmacy Technician Examination.
• Valid NJ Driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual technical tasks for the storage, distribution, packaging, and labeling of drugs.
• Obtain patient's clinical and prescription plan coverage information.
• Review new and refill prescriptions for accuracy.
• Maintain associated record keeping and patient charging systems.
• Follow proper procedures for the operation of equipment and use of supplies.
