Technician-Pharmacy Advocate
About The Position
Perform activities or tasks in specialty pharmacy services. Perform specialized areas as medicine history, buyer and other inventory related areas, nuclear, and PAP as a pharmacy technician. These tasks may vary. Refill and maintain automated dispensing system. Prepare orders and maintain inventory for the specialty pharmacy areas. Repackage bulk medications. Receive and store incoming supplies. Serve as a liaison between pharmacy, patient and health professionals by providing necessary information. This role requires current or previous Grant, PAP, Prior Authorization, Specialty Medication and Financial Assistance experience.
Requirements
- Oklahoma Pharmacy Tech License and National Certification is Required
- Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed. Must possess all state and local qualifications.
- Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Must possess all state and local qualifications. Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed.
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
