The Technician-Permit Writer is to perform all general inspections, monitor systems, and maintain equipment using the Savage and Customer Maintenance Program Guidelines. The position is a critical member of the maintenance team, being responsible for installing, repairing, maintaining, and refurbishing all equipment in the facility. Duties include but are not limited to spotting and securing the trailer, preparing the trailer for washing according to established procedures, washing, inspecting, and drying bulk trailer tanks, lines, and equipment, disposing of trash, and performing other tasks and duties as requested. Essential Job Duties and Key Responsibilities: Perform routine and timely inspections. Keep maintenance and inspection routines on a precise schedule. Follow procedures and work safely at all times. Be able to report to the relocating site as site locations move. Perform daily Site Safety Inspections and Observations. Follow relocations of units. Assist in site moves working with other Technicians, Maintenance personnel, and Truck Drivers.Works as a steward of others, equipment, and facilities.
