Requirements

Responsibilities
- Conduct a variety of preliminary tests, such as measuring visual acuity, performing ocular screenings, and using specialized equipment for diagnostic purposes under the supervision of an optometrist.
- Greet patients warmly, gather medical history, and address any questions or concerns they may have regarding their visit.
- Support the optometrists during eye examinations by preparing the examination room, assisting with equipment, and documenting findings.
- Educate patients about eye health, vision care, and suitable eyewear options, providing them with the necessary information to make informed decisions.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is updated in accordance with practice policies and legal requirements.
- Keep optometric equipment clean, organized, and in good working order, reporting any malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
- Collaborate effectively with other staff members to ensure efficient office operations and foster a positive team atmosphere.
