The opportunity The primary function of this job is to repair and maintain all cards to produce quality material for the drawing processes for the purpose of maximizing quality and efficiency safely. Maintain all machines in the blow room that is related to the cards. Our Machine Technicians are responsible for keeping the machinery up and running with minimum down time to ensure production of quality yarn. Only work 15-16 days a month. 12-hour shifts 8pm to 8am Now offering WEEKLY Pay! Stable and supportive work environment. Responsible for keeping the machinery up and running with minimum down time to ensure producing quality yarn. This opportunity is based in our Yarns Division

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• For this position you must demonstrate exemplary attendance and leadership capabilities.
• Must be able to work well with a team and others.
• Must be able to read, comprehend, and have the ability to think independently to solve complex problems.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow all Gildan’s policies and procedures
• Ability to work in a cotton dust environment
