About The Position

Perform computerized hearing screening on newborns. Receive test requests and performs routine infant hearing screenings, prepping and placing of sensors and earphones. Maintain patient records and logs and completes chart review to identify high risk indicators for hearing impairment. Check instrumentation for malfunctions and maintains equipment. Follow guidelines for patient identification and result labeling. Interact appropriately with infants and handles problems concerning infant availability and physical conditions. Requirements

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • BLS Provider. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
