About The Position

Non-licensed person responsible for continuously observing and interpreting
patients’ cardiac rhythms (EKG/ECG) and ensuring appropriate and timely alerts /
responses to any alarms. Maintains and reports data in a timely manner. Assists
in various clerical and communication functions on the nursing unit. Must be
knowledgeable of the policies and procedures of the unit & health system.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Able to read, write and speak English.
• Successful Dysrhythmia course completion required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous monitor tech experience preferred.
• Certified Telemetry Technician certification preferred.
