About The Position

The position involves screening One Call locate requests to determine if they should be dispatched to Operations or if they are clear of relevant assets. The role requires a basic understanding of Geographic Information System (GIS) mapping layers within the Ticket Management System and/or ESRI GIS Portal. Responsibilities include dispatching emergency One Call tickets, providing administrative support for the Ticket Management System, utilizing State One Call sites and GIS for research, generating productivity and compliance reports, logging Damage Prevention data, managing observations from pilots, coordinating with HR and IT for contractor setup, assisting in training for Operations personnel, preparing documentation for inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The role also involves planning for in-line inspection projects and ensuring customer satisfaction through safe and efficient service.

Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma.
  • 5-10 years of experience in onshore gas transmission or hazardous liquid pipeline engineering, operations, or construction.
  • 5+ years of regulated gas or hazardous liquid integrity management experience.
  • Field Operations experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of pipeline operations and regulations related to line locating and ROW patrol operations preferred.
  • Experience in scheduling or dispatch preferred.
  • Familiarity with safety codes and regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience interacting and communicating effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and ESRI GIS applications.
  • Ability to learn and use new software and technology.

Responsibilities

  • Screen One Call locate requests to determine dispatch needs.
  • Develop understanding of GIS mapping layers within Ticket Management System and ESRI GIS Portal.
  • Dispatch emergency One Call tickets and contact Operations personnel.
  • Manage Ticket Management System setup for correct configuration.
  • Utilize State One Call sites and GIS for research on tickets and asset locations.
  • Generate and distribute productivity and compliance reports.
  • Log Damage Prevention data for reporting efforts.
  • Manage observations from pilots in GIS and create work orders.
  • Coordinate with HR and IT for contractor setup and training.
  • Assist in training for Operations personnel and pilots.
  • Prepare documentation for state and federal inspections.
  • Provide planning for in-line inspection projects.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through safe and efficient service.
  • Manage pipeline hydro-testing and dehydration.
  • Conduct chemical and mechanical cleaning of pipelines.
  • Serve as liaison with customers for project estimates and scheduling.
