About The Position
The Technician-Materials Management Surgical Lead position at Baptist Memorial Health Care involves ensuring that all returned supplies are restocked and coordinating the stocking of daily bulk supply deliveries. The role includes monitoring supply room inventory levels to maintain sufficient stock for surgery cases, facilitating and processing surgery supply orders, and working with purchasing to ensure all orders are placed. The technician will respond to customer requests in a timely manner and work with vendors to achieve the best outcomes. Additionally, the technician will assume supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the manager and perform other related duties as assigned, including being subject to overtime and callback as needed.
