Inspect equipment and structures, and perform routine and preventive maintenance to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation. Apply essential electrical, mechanical, welding, and machinery knowledge to diagnose malfunctions and complete repairs. Operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment necessary to perform assigned duties. Assist and collaborate with other maintenance personnel as required to support operational needs. Follow all safety procedures, policies, and maintenance standards while performing job duties. EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE: Working knowledge of industrial manufacturing equipment, including presses, welders, lathes, mills, air tools, and related machinery. Proficiency with company‑provided pneumatic tools and skilled use of standard hand tools required for fabrication and repair tasks. Ability to safely inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment using foundational electrical, mechanical, welding, and hydraulic knowledge. Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, blueprints, and schematics. Demonstrated ability to use basic computer systems to enter data, complete digital forms, and navigate production or maintenance software. GENERAL ROLE REQUIREMENTS: Qualifications & Technical Skills Valid driver’s license. Working knowledge and demonstrated ability to perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding. Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible maintenance experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Electrical experience working with 120V, 240V, and 480V systems, including single‑phase and three‑phase power. Knowledge of hydraulics, machine shop equipment and tools, and basic electronics. Ability to read, interpret, and apply information from maintenance manuals, blueprints, and schematics. Above‑average mechanical aptitude and math skills, with emphasis on fractions and decimals. Ability to analyze problems, troubleshoot equipment issues, and identify safe, practical solutions. Communication & Teamwork Reading and writing literacy required. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Effective communication skills to work collaboratively in a team environment. Ability to assist, support, and train other employees as needed. Demonstrates attention to detail and thoroughness in all job tasks. Physical & Sensory Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Good manual dexterity and hand‑eye coordination. Ability to read and use a tape measure, measuring equipment, and calculator. Visual acuity requirements include close, distance, peripheral, and color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) for the duration of the shift, including safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety shoes.
